My daughter is 9 months and the love of mine and my husbands lives, along with both of our families. For about the first 6 months of her life I was dead set that I wasnt having another until she was at least 4. Now that shes crawling and learning to walk, and becomming more and more grown up I cant help but want another little baby around. Also a lot of my close friends are starting to get pregnant or are trying to get pregnant either for their first or second time. I am pretty convinced that I'd like to get preggo again this up comming winter but my hubby will take a little convincing. We both know that if we wait for the "right" time we'll never have another baby. And I've kind of gotten over the idea of a "right" time. However his family is a huge influence in his decision and I am kind of wary about telling my mother in a few months that we might start trying again. I was in the first semester of my sopre year of college when I preggy with our now 9 month ols daughter.

I was reading an article that said "birds are the modern versions of dinosaurs." I was wondering if the birds we see today existed when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Did fish exist then too? Also, how did dinosaurs become extinct. When the event (of their extinction) occured, reptiles such as alligators and turtles survived, right? I'm not sure.. Also, if those sea animals survived, why couldn't the teradactyl survive? Some of you already know about my family cirstances -- My sister is dying of congestive heart failure after suffering multiple strokes back in '04. The congestive heart failure came about just recently, she has pretty severe edema, had bloodwork done, and the diagnosis of heart failure was officially made. My parents have been her caregivers for 3 years in April. It's been exhausting for them, of course, but we have tried to help whenever possible. On top of crying off and on about my sister, I am now faced with stressing over my Dad's new health issue/s. He's having a colonoscopy done soon. I was at my parents' house earlier today, and on the table were instructions for the days before his test... along with a brochure about colon cancer. When I heard about his main symptom a couple of weeks ago (perhaps less), in the back of my mind was the C word, but I just didn't want to think about it. However, when I saw the brochure, naturally I'm silently screaming. :(

Track Coaches -- Jumping Help?

I'm a high school student, been in track for 3 years, and I do both the triple ( 39 ft. 3 in.) and the long jump (17 ft 10 in). My coaches say that when I jump I dont get very high in the air. I think the problem is with my spikes rather than leg strength. I've been using running spikes (Saucony Crescent Sprint) and I noticed that when I take off, especially in the 2nd and 3rd phase of the triple jump, my leg kinda "buckles" when I land to do the hop, skip, etc.... My spikes dont have any heel padding to them, and i think this might be the cause. Therefore, I recently bought puma jumping spikes that have the extended spike plate, more spikes, and extra cushion on the heel. Will they help my jumping improve, as in more distance and height in the air? Thanks in advance.

Iowa really isn't that conservative for a rural Midwestern state. I don't think it's a slam dunk that this is going to get repealed - especially given that their lengthy process for amending their constitution means that there are going to be a lot of marriages performed before anything happens. It was a unanimous decision too, unlike California's and the Republican appointed justices voted along with the Dem appointees. That, and the fact that this is in the heartland and not the liberal coast is going to carry some weight I think. I'm cautiously optimistic on this one.

Though it's located in CBD of Bangkok, it's quite safe and not noisy 'cause it's no street vendor and tout in front of the hotel. There're BTS station(Chidlom), Gaysorn Plaza, Amarin Plaza and Erawan Bangkok close to the hotel. Central World is nearby (within 10 minute walking). They use Red Earth for toiletries, same as Holiday Inn Phuket (I love it). Enjoy your trip :)

I have been unhappily married for a really long time. In fact, we went through marriage counseling about 3 years ago. It did not really seem to work at the time. I have been researching Nvidia cards for around 2 months now to make sure that I get EXACTLY what I want. I haven't ever spent 79334.82 on a computer before and will only be buying 1 part a month till I have it paid off. More when I am buying cheaper parts like the PSU, case and accessories. The 460 in sli wil wipe the floor when put up against a 580 BUT when I go SLI the 570 will be a LOT cheaper and the performance of 2 570 cards will warrant the ~$600 and compared to a $650 card on the market now eventually getting two 570 cards is a performance increase that will be well worth it. The Sabertooth that I am getting will support those two cards. I also thought of the Asus extreme III formula & rampage but this motherboard will give me the hardware necessary to support two 570 cards as well as all the memory and CPU and PSU power I could ever dream of for a good while. So in a nutshell go for the 460 superclocked. Make sure it has an AR at the end which means lifetime if you want to settle and still have fairly awesome gaming performance. I think you'll be satisfied but a few years down the road when you need to increase your performance you're already maxed out as far as multiple cards go. They, the 460, don't support tri-sli. I will be buying a another 570, for roughly the same price as the 460 superclockedAR since I won't be making that upgrade for at least a year and a half, and I will see a marked performance increase with two 570 cards. So how "near-future proof" do you want your build to be? I really don't want to dig up all the techie goodies that compare the 460 cards in sli compared to the 580 and all the info that led up to my final decision but the decision I made was an extremely well informed, and very time consuming, one so if you would like to take my word for please do.

My car is screwed up, HELP!?

I drive a 2002 Pontiac Montana, and on my way home from work and I noticed that my cars speed started to go down, but it would steadily stay at 40 mph, then I come to a stop and I pressed on the gas but it wouldn't go past 20 mph. So I pulled into a McDonald's and let it rest for about 5 minutes, then I started on my way back home and I noticed it took a good 7 or 8 seconds( Like your counting Mississippi's}. My "Hot Coolant Temp" gage was on so I was a little worried, but I got home safely but still with a very, very screwed up car.

Well now that it's crunch time, she comes crying to me about her grades. I got her to request the opportunity to resubmit her last paper to try for a better grade. I told her exactly what to write, and the instructor said yes. I corrected her paper (52 grammatical and spelling errors within 4 pages) and told her what she needed to do to finish. She didn't even turn it in! Now she's bugging me to work together on the final paper. I think she wants me to do her work, which I refuse to do. If she would just make an effort it wouldn't be so bad. Should I help or cut her her loose? She needs this cl to graduate.

I do Property Preservation for loan companies that own houses that are sitting empty. Some companies just want hot water heat systems drained, others are asking to have bleeder pins removed from the baseboards and/or radiators. i'm trying to figure out where to locate these pins and how do i remove them? My brother in law is threatening suicide, what should I do?

Portable pvc air tank for pneumatic cannons?

I, after 2 years, managed to convince my dad to let me make a pneumatic cannon. The only problem is, I can't use his giant air compressor, but I can use a portable air tank. Learning to do guitar solos?

I've been practicing hours every day of school holidays on scales but I've had to stop a bit coz my wrists are hurting, even though I play lightly. So I just want to know how much more it'll take to be able to do something, not a shred solo or Eruption or something crazy but just to play fast enough that itd sound good if i found a good tune. They are my favorite band and have been for the past 3 years. I also like The Used and Escape The Fate. Those are all rock/metal. But if you like the dance sound to Cobra Starship and FTSK, then you'll absolutely love The Medic Droid. Unfortunately, they are broken up...but they made an album/EP with 7-8 songs on it. How do we get through the fact my husband fathered a child before we were married but were in a relationship?

i have been with my now husband for 9 years, 2 years into our reationship his son who was 3 at the time came to live with us as his mother didn't want the resposibilty. a year later we got married and tried to have a ababy of our own which resulted in an eptopic pregnacy, a year after that i had a cyst on my ovary.removed along with an ovary which meant we had to go through ivf which wasnt succsessful. anyway there has never been an issue with trust i truelly believed my husband loved/loves me. about 2 weeks ago a women sent me a message saying that she had a 6 yr old son to my husband . the truth came out from my husband that he had a dna test taken when the child was born and has been giving her money for the child up until 2 years ago. the dna test apparently was never proven because the mother never provided the child sample..my husband is a really good dad to his son so he would never deny his child, he says he genuinly never thought the child was his he was just giving her money coz she was threatning to tell me.he has nver met the child. at the moment i dont feel angry or anything to be honest.....i;m worried that this isnt normal and now not only do i have to deal with the fact he cheated i also have to deal with the fact this women has the upperhand in our lives now with regards to financial issues. i love my husband so much but dont know how we are going to deal with this also aswell i know when this sinks in the fact that i have been through so much heartache to have a baby with my husband will make things even worse

I agree with Julie N. Court fines are not paid through the DMV. They are two separate entities. If you paid a significant amount of money at the DMV, it was more than likely for registration/late fees. In addition to asking the DMV for a complete record of your payments, I'd ask the Court for a complete copy of your "file." (It's usually just the ticket attached to an envelope where correspondence/receipts are kept. If it turns out that you paid the DMV the right amount of money, you still owe the Court and unfortunately, you're going to owe them even more due to the mix up. Good luck.
