How do I get rid of him?

I'm completely saddened and disappointed by my current bf 2gether 8yrs we have kids . He doesn't spend with me i ask him to go out all the time and that I'll pay for everything but he doesn't want to be with me. He use to scream alot at me infront of the kids but he stopped because I told his parents about the awful way he is being around the kids and me. I recently told him to leave that it wasn't fair that he leaves me lonely all the. That he needs to go. then he said he is only hear for the kids. the apartment is in my name I own everything but the t.v and that's replaceable. I can manage the bills just fine and the kids as well their old enough to understand whats going on they even say that daddy's being mean to me i just don't know how to make him leave without involving the authorities.. please I need advice . genuine question needs genuine answer
