Have you noticed that American women are more fascinated with accents than women of other countries?

American men are exactly the same. This has to do with perception. Americans tend to be more intuitive rather than common sensical. I may be speaking about a minority, but to larger degree than in a lot of other countries, Americans have a tendency to look at the big picture and at patterns in things. This makes them interested in foreign cultures and also history and the distance future. Whereas in other countries, you'll find a lot more no-nonsense, fact-minded, realistic, practical, here-and-now kinds of people. These people tend to prefer their own language and culture.
