Which ancient civilization set a date on which the world will end.?

was it the incas, aztecs, or mayans. All i remeber is that they set a date for which doomsday will be. I remembr they have a clock which is based on the moon and they are only 30 seconds off 1000-3000 years later. PLZ HELP ME
