A good friend of an old ex wants to hang out, what should I do?

long story short, a mutual friend of an ex wants to hang out -- we haven't since almost 2 years ago when my ex & I broke up. This guy is a good friend of my ex, although they don't see each other often & have drifted apart. He lives 2 hrs away so he's not in the area very often, but will be next week. He's a funny guy & like him as friends, but I can't help but wonder if he just wants to hang so he can say "ha look who i hung out with" to my ex.. he's a little flirty. So he might be a bit interested, but I'm not.. I think he knows I want to keep it platonic. I'm recently single btw after i broke up with someone else. Anyway, we text a little bit & talk some on facebook.. we weren't talking much til recently. I don't mean this in a stuck up way, but I'm def way out of his league. And idk I just want platonic, I'm not attracted.. But can guys be misled? We're in our early 20s.. anyway thx for input!
